  Speed needs to improve at this location. Every time I go, I'm waiting almost half an hour for a quarter chicken dinner. I worked at Swiss Chalet twice, and I know that (a)it's considered a fast food restaurant, so a chicken meal should only take a few minutes, not half an hour, and (b)it takes two seconds to cut a chicken. The restaurant wasn't even busy so what is the deal with that?? Also, this location closes before their posted close time, as on a couple of occasions when I decided to get take out, they told me they were closed 15-20 mins prior to their actual close time. Disappointing.

  We went with a group of 14 people for a birthday party. The service was extremely slow and the server failed to communicate with the table and get drink refills. The restaurant was less than half full and it was 1.5 hours before we got our food and one of the families that we were with didn't get their food when the rest of the food came out. Finally a young girl came over that was not our server asked what we were missing with respect to food. Their food finally arrived as everyone else was finishing eating. The server did not apologize for the wait or lack of food and even became short with us when each party wanted to use their Scene card on their bill. She rudely stated that only 1 Scene card could be used per table and that rule has always been in place. After reading the fine print it stated that 1 Scene card could be used per bill. We slso had a 2 can dine coupon that was given out at Christmas time and when we presented it when the bill came the server said very rudely 'you are suppose to present this prior to ordering...I will now have to get speak with the manager to see if we can indeed take it after the fact'. We had not been to that Swiss Chalet for a few months and had relatively good and fast service with previous visits (10-20 minutes for food). The customer service this time was extremely poor and I will be hard pressed to go back anytime soon.

  We have been in there 3 times in the past two weeks and were never able to order the chicken parm. We will never return. Not the first time this has happened. Surprised the place is still opened. Better restaurants have closed.

  Absolutely terrible. Paid 14$ for a frozen burger and overly salted fries (so salty they looked as if coated in sugar, no one at my table could eat them). Also I ordered a cheeseburger and they forgot the cheese. Then at the end all they did was not charge us 4$ for the fries... Even though they saw our plates were still full because the food was too bad to eat. It's two hours later and I still feel nauseous from the 'meat'.

  My meal was well prepared and hot. The restaurant was not very clean. Stains on the walls and lampshades. My server was not bad, I would recommend takeout!
