  The ambience had a nautical feel to it, with the view of the street and the locks. Very quick service and kind wait staff.

  I was a little worried coming here based on some of the poor reviews regarding service. But glad we came! Service was truly exceptional! We sat upstairs, on the window - with nice views of the locks. We enjoyed everything we ordered (whitefish items and beer). The dining room had fun decor and decent ambiance.

  Had the corned beef hash with eggs. It was great. Only weird thing was, we wanted to be seated upstairs. They said it would be a 20 minute wait. After we ate in the lower part, we were told we could look upstairs. We expected it to be packed... Nope... one table was sat. We didn't understand. Food was good though.

  Really good food. I got the roast beef sandwich and my fiance got the fried white fish. Both tasted really good and fresh. They had a couple of local beers on draft, and also the usual beers too.

  The lockview is my absolute favorite place for whitefish! Great service, great food.
