  The service was excellent, but the food was mediocre. The tomato sauce was bland. I ordered the ravioli and it was obvious that it wasn't fresh. The meat mixture was bland and the noodle portion was tough. I was really disappointed. I've gone to other Italian restaurants where the ravioli was amazing. If I wanted store bought frozen ravioli, I could have just gone to the grocery store and just warmed it up myself. I did at least enjoy the meatballs that were included in my meal, but overall the food here is overrated. Your money is best spent elsewhere.

  Giovanni's provides amazing value for your money. Portions are always quite generous at a fair price in a very nice venue. I've always found the service to be very good although the bar lack the ability to blend any type of cocktail that isn't on their specialty drink list. The ribs are one of the best choices on the menu and are always a great cut.

  Horrible! I cannot believe this place is considered one of the best restaurants in the Sault. Saturday night and only one other table in the place..so of course, they sit us right next to them. We are forced to listen to the most ridiculously loud, inept conversation I have ever heard. No music to drown them out...just the equally boorish banter of the kitchen staff. Also, I was so cold I couldn't take my coat or scarf off the entire meal. Our waiter was kind and competent, but my pasta was so overcooked it was completely inedible. A dinosaur of a restaurant. NEVER again!

  Prices have gone up yet again since my last visit. I won't be frequenting this restaurant as often as I have in the past. A simple pasta dish which I order all the time is Now $20. I'll make it myself at home.

  Good service thanks to the waitress. Good local beer selection (Northern Superior). The fish was good. However, the pasta was a shame for an Italian restaurant. Overcooked noodles with pasta water at the bottom of the dish with bland sauce served on top, cafeteria style. Owners should have the chefs look at a few Italian cuisine videos
