There are plenty of interactive learning opportunities for little people that are best experienced with an involved and attentive adult.

Great little museum packed with vintage aircraft that serviced the wilderness areas of Canada through most of the 20th century. Many of opportunities to touch and even climb into aircraft and imagine a simpler and more exciting time.

Spend a morning if you can, it's so worth it. The admission fee is a bargain.

Great place for families with pre-teens. I liked that everything was labelled. Watching for helped out when one gets tired of walking.

Great place to bring children. They can climb into airplanes, climb up to a watch tower and radio people below. Lots of hands on activities. There are videos running featuring historical info about the aircrafts. This is often the venue for children's activities hosted by community partners. Sometimes there are themes like "super heros" and craft tables are set up in addition to children exploring. It's usually free but registration is requested.
