  My wife says choosing a café is like golf: if we hit the perfect shot every time, we would be bored and never play again. Halfway through our cross-Canada journey, we have hit many highs and lows in the local coffee shop. This café is a highlight of the trip so far, and I'll miss it when I leave the soo.

  You have to have their salad with secret "house" dressing. Even if you're a man's man. It's awesome. All their food is good. Quaint place so it fills up fast. Get there by 12 if you want a seat. They do take reservations but call if you cancel so you don't deprive somebody else of a great lunch. Coffee here is good too.

  Expensive for what it is and the servers aren't very helpful. I mentioned a food allergy and when I ordered something that contained the allergen. they didn't say anything. There's two things on their menu: salad and whatever they have as the special, so it's hard to believe the server was unaware that the food contained the allergen. When I asked for a replacement item I got charged for the item I couldn't eat and the new item.
