  We were stuck in the Sault overnight Christmas Eve and honestly couldn’t have had a better place to stay. The staff was unbelievably friendly. Christmas morning they had an incredible free breakfast for us prior to us leaving. The rooms were affordable and modern. We had our dog so had a pet room but still very clean and well taken care of. We usually would never have to stay overnight in the Sault but this would be the place to stay.

  There were a lot of bright lights outside of my room that the blinds did not block out. Also wallpaper in the hallway was peeled

  Just an FYI make sure you reserve your room well ahead of time because they go fast and a lot of the other places will allow dogs but only service pets.

  But the Staff here especially in the morning just make you feel so comfortable and appreciated.

  Best sleep I had the entire trip from PEI to Alberta. The most amazing comfortable beds. Clean room. Quietest. Steady soothing sound of the heater. Perfect temp control. Darkness. Zzzzzzzzzz

  Everything was great but we got in late, just before midnight. I had already reserved the room and paid online for it. The night clerk was on the phone when I got there. I heard her half of the conversation so I know it wasn't a customer on the other line. She made me wait over 5 minutes before she finally said to her friend "Well I have to left you go I have a guest to check in." I was tired and didn't need any hassles so I took the room key and went to bed unhappy. If I ever have to stop in Sault Ste Marie I will definitely think twice before I go to the Comfort Inn.

  Just increased to 4 stars because I was going to stop there again over a year later because they are pet friendly and I was going to southern Ontario to pick up a puppy. I made the reservation for a ground floor room/pet friendly room for myself and my travelling partner. As it turned out though I didn't go (due to the flu) but my grandson/travelling partner went and said everything went well.
